You can selectively disable glossaries so that abbreviations and shortcuts of the contained phrases / autocorrects are not detected.
The enabled/disabled state of a glossary is indicated by the active status icon.

To enable / disable glossaries and all the phrases they contain
Do one of the following:
-Click on the glossary active status icon
-Right-click on the glossary and click on Active
NOTE: if you want to disable PhraseExpander in certain applications, you can do it by using the ignore abbreviations option.
