To duplicate a variable

1.From the Manage Variables window, right-click on a variable

2.Click on Duplicate
PhraseExpander will create a duplicate of that variable

Copying variables between templates

You can use the Duplicate feature to copy or move variables between templates.

1.From the Manage Variables window, click on Edit referenced templates to add a reference to the original template containing the variables you want to copy or move

2.Duplicate each variable by right-clicking on it and selecting Duplicate
PhraseExpander will create a copy of that variable inside the template

3.Optionally delete the variables from the referenced template by clicking the Delete button
Perform this step only if you want to remove the variables from the original template

4.Click OK or Apply to save the changes
