Check spelling in templates

PhraseExpander has a built-in spell checker that detects spelling mistakes as you type inside the templates that you have stored in the application.

The supported languages are: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch.

 

Check the spelling of the template

The spell checker can work in two different ways.

1.Spell check as you type: the spelling mistakes in the text are underlined with a red wavy line. To enable it, click on the spell checker settings button and make sure that Check spelling as you type is checked.

2.Spell check on demand: to check spelling on demand, click on the spell check button on the toolbar spellCheck16

 

Changing the dictionary

To change the dictionary, follow this procedure:

1.Click on the spell checker settings button in the status bar spell-checker-settings

2.Click on the language you want to use
The new language is now applied to all templates

 

Add a custom dictionary

If you have a custom dictionary (like the Medical dictionary), you can add it to PhraseExpander by following this procedure:

1.Click on the spell checker settings button at the bottom in the status bar spell-checker-settings

2.Click on Add Custom Dictionary and select the dictionary file you want to add
The terms contained in that dictionary will be used for spell checking the template
