Differently from other text expansion software, PhraseExpander provides a very quick and flexible workflow to create and edit your manual inputs.
As you are designing your Manual Input, you can very quickly preview the results you are going to get by clicking on the Preview button.
Displaying a preview of the generated text (Professional only)
If you check the Show preview box, PhraseExpander will display a preview textbox displaying the text that is generated by the macro. This is the quickest way to check that the text generated is as expected.
When actually filling in the form, you'll also have an option to make any changes to the generated text before it's inserted into the final document.
The Preview box allows you to see and edit the generated text before it's inserted into the document.
Editing a phrase when a form is displayed
When displaying a form that contains many manual inputs, you can quickly invoke the edit window for a Manual Input by clicking on the Edit button

You can edit the single manual inputs when displayed in an input form.
