Entering your license key

How to enter the license key

You'll receive your license key by email.

1.Copy your license key into the clipboard.

2.Open PhraseExpander.
The Registration screen opens.

3.Click on the Enter license... button.
The Enter License Key window opens.

4.Click on Paste and then press OK.
You need to restart PhraseExpander to validate the license.

How to change your license key

If you need to change your license key (e.g. when you have renewed your upgrade protection), you can use the following procedure:

1.Copy your license key into the clipboard.

2.Open PhraseExpander.

4.Click on the Help tab and then on the Enter License Key... button.
The Enter License Key window opens.

5.Click on Paste and then press OK.
You need to restart PhraseExpander to validate the license.

NOTE: another option to install the license code (convenient for deployment on many machines) is copying the license key into a file called licensekey.txt and copy that into the installation folder of PhraseExpander. Upon restarting the application, the license will be automatically detected and applied.
